perhaps a folder app dragging animation like the one in TSF launcher, being able to literally drag icons out of a folder.
Imagine the wow factor if you can drag your icons out of a folder and have them laid out according to your gesture.

Please add Home as a long keypress option.
Title says it all. (For those of us with a broken home button.)

Background around icons and widgets
I would like an option to add a background to each icon and widget in the homescreens. Like a solid color background. This background should take up the entire space, minus a little padding for separation. e.g., 1x1 for icons, or whatever size the widget is. It will make the homescreen look almost Windows Phone like. But I would like this option more because it will give a unified look vs a jumble of icons and widgets scattered all over the homescreens. I have photo-edited a screenshot this way and I think it looks quite nice :)

Rotate search/dock in Landscape from top/bottom to left/right
I'd like for Apex to mimic how the new Jellybean 4.2 launcher rotates the persistent search and dock from the top/bottom of the screen to the left/right.

Fix issues with oversized app icons
1) I use HD icons which look fine when increased in size. But the icon labels also become oversized and appear blurred, thus looking terrible. Therefore either stop the label text from also increasing in size OR fox the issue so that text doesn't appear blurry
2) When large, the icons in the folder ios view touch each other. It doesn't look sleek but messy. Ensure they maintain a gap. Also they don't actually fit the folder square background if used.
Thanks!4 votes -

Backing up both setting and icons as a Theme to SD Card.
I would love to be able to back up the Desktop and Settings as a Theme. As I like to change icons but leave the same layout. This would be very helpful. It could make for sharing settings and layout easier as well.

Landscape mode: rotating icons/widgets individually ("transpose") instead of the whole home screen layout
It has been challenging how to make landscape mode more usable because:
1. arranging home screen is a time consuming task. user would prefer doing once only, but not repeating for all orientation
2. tablet screen is rectangle, not square. so after changing orientation, the spacing, margin and etc all changedIt seems that currently Apex Launcher tries to let user to define the row x column size for each of the landscape/portraits mode. it's a workaround but there are some problems with this
- users need to make the best layout by try and error as they have totally…29 votes -

Ability to drop fequently accessed documents onto the home screen for instant access
I have a price list that I need to access frequently. It would be nice to add the doc to the home screen for instant access rather than having to open the app then load the file....

Ability to display menu button on Galaxy Nexus/Nexus 4. Devices with on screen buttons.
Would love to have the ability to display the menu button at the buttom next to my 3 other buttons on my Nexus 4. This already happens when running other apps so don't understand why I don't even have the option to enable that in Apex.

Home screen scrolling smoother
I use stack scroll effect and you see lag. So could you please fix that and I'm using SGS3 btw. And please make an option to make animation of app drawer faster. It really is the perfect launcher if you have done all that.
